Cynthia H. Post

Education

Cyndy graduated from Oberlin College with honors and a B.A. in Psychology and Music. She earned her J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law, where she served as a teaching assistant in legal research and writing for first-year law students. While at Northeastern, Cyndy participated in four richly diverse internships, which included clerking with a Federal Court Judge in San Francisco, interning with two major Boston law firms, and representing low-income women seeking divorces through Greater Boston Legal Services.

Experience & Background

After graduation, Cyndy served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Justices of the Superior Court and then as the Chief Law Clerk. Following her two-year clerkship, Cyndy became an associate at Roche, Carens & DeGiacomo (now Murtha, Cullina LLP) in Boston. Her practice areas included commercial litigation, business, employment law, individual rights, banking, domestic matters, and real estate law. She appeared frequently in State Superior Court, and successfully argued a case before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. She participated in trials at both the state and federal levels. Cyndy also taught legal research and writing skills to first-year students at Boston University Law School.

Following more than a decade at Roche, Carens & DeGiacomo, Cyndy took a hiatus from practicing law to raise her three children. During that time, Cyndy devoted herself to serving in many volunteer roles at both her children’s schools and her family’s synagogue.

In the summer of 2017, Cyndy joined K & G as the Senior Associate. Her areas of practice currently include all aspects of business law and litigation, real estate and employment law, as well as estate planning.

Since joining K & G, Cyndy has appeared before the Superior and Land Courts in multiple matters, as well as represented clients in Court-ordered negotiations. She has had the privilege of arguing before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Cyndy enjoys not only advocating vigorously for K & G clients, but also taking the time to appreciate and counsel our clients regarding short and long-term goals in the matters they have brought to us.
