Victories
  • The case: A divorce in which we represented the Father, who retained full custody of his two young children.  The ex- wife was ordered to pay over $30,000 to the husband, in addition to child support.
  • The Issue : Opposing Counsel filed an Appeal to the Order, but did not show up to defend the Appeal.  The ex-wife never paid any of the money she was ordered to transfer to our client.
  • The Strategy: Diligent pursuit of Complaints for Contempt filed separately against both the ex-wife and her counsel.   .
  • The decision: Opposing counsel was found in Contempt of Court and ordered to pay attorneys fees.  The ex-wife was given a 30-day suspended sentence and ordered to pay the money she owes her ex-husband, or spend a month in jail.

We believe that one of the hallmarks of a successful law firm is its
continued representation of clients over time. Most of our new
clients come to us as referrals from our satisfied existing clients.
Konowitz & Greenberg always welcomes referrals.
