Arlene Kasarjian graduated cum laude from Colby College and received her law degree in 1991 from Boston College Law School. She began her legal career at the Department of Social Services in Boston, litigating contested child custody and termination of parental rights cases in the juvenile and probate courts, and has successfully argued before the single justice session of the Supreme Judicial Court.
Joining Konowitz & Greenberg, P.C. in 2001, Arlene brings her compassion and problem-solving skills to her practice in the areas of adoption, estate planning, probate and trust administration and corporate work. She currently oversees the firm’s uncontested adoptions, working closely with private adoption agencies and prospective adoptive parents. In addition, Arlene advises clients on a wide range of family and business matters. In her estate and trust practice, she prepares estate plans, consistent with her clients’ goals, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney and medical directives, and homesteads, and also helps her clients navigate the administration of trusts and estates. In the corporate area, she counsels small and large corporate clients on a variety of issues including corporate structure, buying and selling businesses, and negotiating leases.
Arlene is actively involved in community activities, her church and her children’s schools.
